Exploring Virginia seeks out educational and adventurous activities to see or do in the local area. 

Art Garst, a landscape garden artist and owner of Rock Stone, did a beautiful job with the renovation project at Mill Mountain's wildflower garden. Watch to learn more about what Art did, and all of the new, lovely plants that you can now see at Mill Mountain Wildflower Garden.

The Wildflower Garden was started in 1971 through a partnership between the garden club and Roanoke Parks and Recreation. Watch to hear from Jane Coulter, a member of Mill Mountain's Garden Club, to get a little history lesson on the wildflower garden, along with the new beautiful additions to the garden.

The Harrison Museum is dedicated to providing a space for the preservation of Black history through the years and into the future. Located in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, their exhibits focus on highlighting Black history and achievement on local, regional, and national levels.
