Blue Ridge PBS also provides online and outreach services to
parents, teachers, childcare providers and other early childhood
professionals. These outreach services include workshops tailored to meet
specific needs of your community. Workshop topics include "View, Do and
Read: targeting multiple learning styles," "Kindergarten Readiness,"
"Emotion Coaching for Well-Being," and "Welcome to the Web for Children,"
"Resources for Children Who are Struggling to Learn." We also direct grants
for books to children through their families and child care centers.
Consult with us on other topics; we are part of a
network of Child Development experts though our partnership in
Smart Beginnings,
the Governor's Initiative for Early Childhood. See Smart Beginnings of Greater
Roanoke.
